Most shocking, I've fed it to an Indian once and they loved it so much. Said it was the most authentic they've had since leaving India.

Also helps it's veg, so it doesn't have the weird freeze dried meat texture you so often get
 
Someone earlier recommended dehydrating your own meals. I've been doing it for the past year. It works amazing well. And no wacky preservatives and god knows what else is going into the stuff you buy. I've done scrambled eggs with veggies and ham. Mac and cheese. Chile. Venison stroganoff.
Bananas are just incredible for a snack. I even dehydrate cans of cream of mushroom soup. And mashed potatoes. The stuff weighs nothing when you are done. It's super easy to do.
