I loved Washingtons attempts to defeat the tush push in the playoffs. If they can't leap over the line to stop they shouldn't be allowed to get multiple guys behind to push it. Better yet ban it--it's a real injury concern I believe--and I think the league is looking at it from that aspect.

I am waiting for the day when some time lines up several beefy nose tackles to push back on the other O line in an obvious short yardage situation. Where does it end if it isn't regulated, would be my question.

Wonder how many times it’s been ran and how many injuries there have been in that specific play?

The Eagles and Bills have scored a touchdown or achieved a first down on 87% of their attempts using the play...

Bills coach Sean McDermott shared his reservations about the safety of it...

So, I just feel like, player safety and the health and safety of our players has to be at the top of our game, which it is. It's just that play to me has always been ... or the way that the techniques that are used with that play, to me have been potentially contrary to the health and safety of the players.

Hmmm... Bill's Coach feels concern for the safety of players though not at the risk of getting into the Super Bowl.

You don't see how someone could use options available to them while simultaneously believing it would better if no one had that option available?

If there's just one QB who was always good at short yardage sneaks it was the Bills QB!

When they are one of the two teams who use the play while other teams opt not to use it... for safety, it's simple to see McDermott's priorities. Wins over player safety.
You don't see how the other teams choose not to use an overwhelmingly successful play available to them while continuing to maintain their player's safety?
