They weren't man enough to tell him It? It is actually pretty terrible the way the seahawks front office treats players. All of their stars leave with a bad taste and I believe free agents don't want to go there. This is just bad people skills and bad people skills is bad management. I believe this is the type of thing that really brought down the organization from within.

I have always found the old school treating the players like inhuman chess pieces as odd and distasteful. Even in the minor example of Zimmer refusing to say good morning to players in the hallway - if I treated my team like that I would be quickly removed from the equation. I am hopeful that the generation of 30-something coaches are starting to change this bizarre way to manage employees and teammates.
 
Why....seriously why. Ur an all time great with a legacy and you go and muck it up with stupid shit like this. Good grief!
