Football General Talk

Ooof. Rough ending for Dallas. Some crummy teams rising up this weekend and making for some nail biting action. Feels like anybody could win it this year

The Kansas City (play just ok enough to eek out a win) Chiefs do it again. Other NFL teams have sure made them look vincible.

I’m sure glad KC has Mahomie, as Burrow and Allen are upping their game to match his creativity and flair.

Were it to happen that all three were to be out for a playoff game, Henne>Keenum>Allen/Browning for Chiefs, Bills and Bengals

Even though Mahomes is the best QB in the league, the Eagles are the best team in the league.

I don’t know, man- hard to see the best team in the league being in the NFC this year.
I don't know about that. I see 4-5 real strong candidates for "best". But Tampa isn't one of them. Bills and Bengals are overrated (but still excellent teams that could win).

Theres only 4 real competitors to me. NFC: 49s/eagles AFC: Bills/Chiefs. But as we see often the best teams don't always win espically the superbowl, look at last year. Arguably the best playoff game in NFL history was between bills/chiefs in the divisional round and neither team even made superbowl. Got to have a ticket punched to get in but then things like lucky bounces matter where teams like Vikes and Cincy have a horseshoe up there arse. I do know for sure the pats aint winning it...lol

I’ll admit it’s a cool story, but I don’t see a team with Mr Irrelevant as the QB winning the Super Bowl.
Everyone thought the same about Tom Brady too. 🤷‍♂️. When he replaced Bledsoe that was probably one of the biggest shocks in NFL history. From a contract/roster stand point.

Biggest thing is our violent physical form of football really kicks our ass injury wise.

I dunno, to me its hard to imagine to but they have a top 5 team, I think it's possible. The AFC is so stacked with QBs compared to the NFC. Their group of weapons is well, pretty unique.

Their Defense will be the bigger factor of taking them there.

I think of the kid finishes strong its a win/win situation for the QB conundrum and next year's salary cap issues. I am a Jimmy fan, Id be shocked if he does come back to the 9ers.

Lance and Brock will both be on rookie contracts, Bosa contract comes to life. The can resign a number of players. On multi year deals because they don't have the 30mil man issue.

Nick Foles is proof of that too. Their isn't a person in this world that thought he was gonna beat Brady. Besides his team and him.
