Flying with a camp tent

Has anyone flown with a camp style tent (2-3 people) with those small heater stoves? What brand did you use?

Flown on commercial plane or small bush plane? Yes on both. Put it checked luggage

Only thing to worry about it liquid/soild fuel make sure your stove is clean, you didn't mention type of stove.

Sorry I meant one of those wood stoves. Trying to figure out if they pack down small enough and any recommendations for a good one.

Mine is smaller than a laptop and shaped like one when it’s broke down just put camp in a tote and check it I like seek outside

You’re more than likely better off renting one or borrowing one if you’re planning on flying and don’t already own the tent. I haven’t seen one that is going to be reasonable for flying weight wise unless you’re talking about the ultra light types.

I’m assuming you’re talking about a wall tent and big steel stove. A teepee and ultralight stove is easy to fly with

You need to get some specifics on what you can fly. Size and weight matters
