First Mule Deer

After moving to Montana and getting into big game hunting a couple of years ago, I have always wanted to get a mule deer, backcountry, 100% solo.

After weeks of hiking, scouting, bumping bulls, watching cougars and bears, I finally achieved my goal.

Great start! My first mule deer was a spike that I shot back in 1965 with one of my college roommates and with a borrowed Win 94 in .32 special.

I haven't heard much talk about the .32 special in quite sometime. Where they made in anything besides the model 94?
I have one that was my father's. I don't think I have even shot it since he passed away in '86
