im gonna hunt korean water deer next month. but there is no hunter around me, so i can'get any advice.
i have no tree stand. what should i prepare for deer hunt? baiting??

What is the terrain like where you are hunting? Do you have the ability to scout the area and try to see the deer and how they behave?

i think im gonna hunt near lake. yeah water deer is too much here. its easy to find deer. but i dont know how to get close to them.. thank you

Are you hunting with a rifle or archery? Which ever you are hunting with, what is your effective range?

Knowing nothing about water deer, I'd find sign and set up down wind.
Like LCH is saying, the most important thing for you will be keeping the wind in your face. Scent is the quickest give away to animals. Are you going to be on the ground or in a tree stand?

cant really understand english, so plz check i got right idea from you. so i need to make wind always keep coming from front??
i think i will stay in ground. hard to find good tree for tree stand here. maybe i should dig a ground and stay there?

The wind should always be blowing into your face.

You could try stalking them, or set up on paths they use.

Do the feed and sleep in different areas?

Keeptrying was asking if the deer feed and sleep in the same area. If you are camping out you should be staying quite a ways from where you plan to hunt.

If you know the route that they travel regularly you should find a spot to ambush them along that route if you can. Try keep the wind in your face as was mentioned and concealed yourself in some sort of blind like these https://www.cabelas.com/category/Ground-Blinds-Accessories/104365080.uts or you can use the plant material in the area to create your own like this http://wwocz.net/jim-reviving-the-lost-art-of-the-brush-blind/
