I asked Cush the other day on wether he wanted to shoot a mulie or a white tail in MT. He (in Cush terms) said which ever gave him a bulge. Should make for good straight to YouTube footage. Lol

Seeing some pre-rut activity here in Idaho yesterday. I live about 1/2 mile from an elk farm, so when those elk start bulging, the rut is usually beginning around here at least. About 75 elk in the farm with 10 of those white.

Had a big one bugling yesterday here. Went out to check,walked 40 yrds from my door and was busted by the cows...lol
Caught a view of him heading into trees next door & the cows followed after going around me .
He was big enough to get my attention....really big...... or was that a Freudian slip?
This morning it's quiet,but have 2 young bulls pushing each other around down at the tank.There's 6 cows & 4 calves heading this way now with the 2 knuckleheads staring at them. They were not impressed.
I have to watch & wait for a month or so.

I tried that last year 1 pointer. It didn't work out for me I ate tag soup. One of those hunts if it could go wrong it did go wrong. Hahaha Good luck in the breaks this fall should be some fun.
