I cannot wait to get on the road. Leaving tomorrow afternoon as soon as I can slip out of work and hopefully will make Idaho by sunrise Saturday morning. I 've struck out in ID so far, 3rd time is the charm right??

Good luck and stay hydrated! It's supposed to be a scorcher this weekend. I overdid it again this weekend and am feeling the effects still today...my opener weekend will consist of tubing down the river, watching rodeo, and stuffing my face with food truck eats.

I tried that last year 1 pointer. It didn't work out for me I ate tag soup. One of those hunts if it could go wrong it did go wrong. Hahaha Good luck in the breaks this fall should be some fun.

Thanks! I hope it cools off the 2nd week I am there. 1st week looks to be hot like you said. We may spend a lot of time on active water holes if we can find them that first week!
