Fiance's buck

Yesterday was one of the few days this season, where both Kaitie and I were off and could get out and hunt together.
We headed out with the agreement of her having first pick of any deer, and me having first crack at any elk.
Of course we got into lots of great whitetail and no elk.
This guy came out and gave her a good shot, and she was more than happy with him. Not her biggest but her first 5x5.
We saw quite a few good bucks though and I can't hardly wait for the rut to get going.

It is really cool that she enjoys getting out and hunting with me, and I definitely don't take it for granted.
No worries schmalts and elk_hunter, she has camo, just chose not to wear it for the hero shots.
