Impressive. You need better public relations. Who is a counterpart I can contact in AZ to see about what they have scheduled here and if they use volunteers. We have only worked with G&F but would be willing to look into water projects here. Thanks.

Or you could get off your barstool and actually learn what happens, as opposed to sitting at the bar with the rest of the drunks complaining about the government....

I'm interested in hearing the positives from proponents.
They allow you to put water where there is none and in areas otherwise suitable for that game animal. These have been crucial for some pronghorn and bighorn sheep herds west of SLC.

Not that it matters, but most of the guzzlers refered to are small game guzzlers.

Oh, gotcha...I guess I'm sore about what the F&G did with guzzlers in the AZ strip (and wherever else). Capping off springs to put guzzlers in was a bright move......enabled cats hang out within striking distance instead of letting the water flow naturally, making it more difficult to pick off animals.

IME, guzzlers aren't a spring development. The catch natural precip and store it in a tank, usually below ground, so that it is available for much longer through the year. Something like this is what we have in the desert:
