I pressure wash
Cook with my turkey fryer burner in a large tub with Borax change out water as needed throughout the process.
Once all of the gunk is out I rinse with a garden hose.
Then mix Basic White and volume 40 and brushes it on being careful not to get on antlers
Let it set 24 hrs
Rinse with water
Let it dry
Use satin clear coat spray paint on the skull
Let it dry
Display as desired.

I boil in Dawn for an hour, car wash blast, repeat a couple of times, acetone soak for a couple weeks then hydrogen peroxide 40v it with some powder for paste and rinse/check it every day till it looks good. Javelina came out pretty good and I like having it right next to a big pig.

Yes. I made it many years ago when I did a lot of horse packing. The strap goes on the front ring of the Decker and the handle goes through the loops of extra lash rope.
