Usually my elk aren't close enough to the truck to worry about getting the ribs out. Gonna make an extra trip from here on out if I have to. I did cook some deer shank a couple weeks ago. Will be doing that from now on. mtmuley
I see you are a Sierra Nevada fan....went to college where their original brewery is located, you ever get a chance to make it out this way be sure and stop in for the tour, interesting all that goes into their business these days.
I have a buddy who precooks them in a pot of Crab boil and finishes them off with the Grill. He works at the RR and they all save up their Rib Cages and have a cook out at work. And these were Whitetail. John
