I always thought that the people pushing "shoot more bulls to get the elk numbers down" were blowing smoke. Now I am starting to think differently.

Oh, why you got to be so cold?We should all just move over to the elk pic thread
I'm trying to bait him into posting some more bulls that are actually big...We should all just move over to the elk pic thread
Burns? I’ve always wondered what he does with all those big guysLots are smaller and I listed them. I’ve got a friend that’s taken maybe a dozen bigger than my biggest and most of theM with archery. He’s literally got 400” elk racks hanging from his garage rafters.
not one single tree in this unit, besides the odd old shelterbelt farmyard. This is an awesome bull, looks bigger than the score you list. What do they rub their antlers on there, aspens? Got to be some trees somewhere.
our group got 348" and change, the taxidermist got 356" when he did it. So pretty close to that I am guessing...Must score different north of the border. That looks much bigger than 356.
Are all of your zooms .5!?! Now it all makes sense!Never measured this one. Sawed the antlers off and sold them. I’m guessing 300 maybe. It’s a LONGARM picture.

Now that’s a Coors Light… a tall slim can makes ‘em look thicker.
I'll bet that was a great trip.NM 1999. Lilley Mt in the background. Gila Wilderness. My friends bull was in 320s, found score sheet on mine.
