Elk Mount

This year, if I get an elk in Wyoming( it will be a cow)I'm going to have the head mounted..After all,,the only elk I have shot has been cows,and they are just as good of a trophy, to a meat hunter

Who knows,,if I find some big sheds I could always put them on her head and say I shot it

I agree. Any animal can be a trophy. Big horns are nice to look but make lousy soup.

I am seeing more and more cow mounts. You might be starting a trend...

House I check on in the winter has a antelope doe and a moose cow mount. I don't think it is all that uncommon anymore.
