I'm new to this site and don't have the hunting credentials that many do around here. But I'll post mine anyway.

A while back I talked my hunting buddy into applying for a once-in-a-lifetime tag in the Valle Vidal, NM. We drew the first time we ever applied. And we were able to take two 6x6's. We like NM so much we decided to apply the following year in Unit 16 of the Gila. And again we drew. That year we took two 6x7's. We must have used up all of our luck because we haven't been able to pull a tag since.

I'm starting to hate you. You make it looks so easy, but in reality it's not.
You need to let us pick a hunting district each year and force you to hunt there. Maybe a group of the most successful HT guys and make that a contest. That kind of contest would be better than the reality shows of today. I would endorse that.

Fin, get on this, I think I just came up with a spin off version for you.
