So 70million somolians annually and minimum 750 jobs. That is a helluva offer and I see that argument better now. Alternatively, could destroy the salmon fishery, right? Besides the revenues from fishing, the populace also benefits from personal income and subsistence. I think maintaining things as they are is still the best option. Im not sure how the commercial side works.
(Totally irrelevant fact Colorado Fish and Game license generate 125MM)
As has been already said, AK is dependent on OG tax revenue. I also know of the necessity for OG exploration revenue here in NM.
