Ive had bad luck on samsungs... great luck on all the sony’s. Except the one i smashed when closing the pickup door. A couple vizios in the house now and seem to be going good.

I bought a 55" Samsung from Costco three months ago and it already stopped working. Of course the fire might have something to do with that. I wonder if I can return it?

I had a Samsung once that lasted 2-3 years. Only took a $2 resistor to fix. Of course when your FIL is an electronics technician, it helps. I have a Samsung smart tv now that was the biggest waste of money. After about a year or so the software slowed way down and now we just use a firestick on it and don't even use the "smart" features anymore.
Meanwhile my 13 year old Emerson in the home office just keeps chugging along.

Thank you all for your tots and pears, brought home a new LG 60”. Kid thinks her cartoons look pretty good on it so that’s good.

Waiting to test it out on some hunting videos after bed time.
