How do you park a truck like that?

I already know but want the others to be informed

Tut, tut, Mr. Nut! The method of parking like that is a highly orchestrated ballet involving an unimproved logging road consisting of the finest soils of western Kentucky, painstakingly worn-down tires on a 2WD truck, and copious amounts of the freshest rainwater available. It takes great amounts of preparation and skill to perform such a feat. For a pittance of only $49.95 (plus shipping and handling, void where prohibited) I can send you complete instructions describing how you, too, can park a vehicle in such a sophisticated, yet subtle, manner. For an additional $10 I will also include instructions on how return your vehicle to a "road ready" position.

Well, Martin...sort of.

A lot of the bad spots have been regraded with a tractor, including that nasty rut in the picture.

Unfortunately, soon after the grading was done a big rain came through and washed that big rut right back into the road.

It's not as deep as it was (yet), but it ain't purty either.

I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and buy the rock by myself or it will never get done. Out of 7 people using that road you'd think I could get some help with it, but apparently not.

Also discovered this weekend, that fellow on the left as you go in dozed up that whole line of trees along the road and made it part of his "yard." I've got to find out just where his property ends, but in the interim there's no more parking for a walk in.
