How did you arrive at the conclusion that "he's trying to fix it"Every dept. needs to be audited and gutted. The bloated government has put us into $35 Trillion of debt, and both sides of the aisle are to blame. The implications of not addressing that debt are far worse than slashing every dept. by 90%. Total default and the inability to repay our national debt will implode the whole country and we start from scratch. The whining about a few good things being swept up in the cleaning is ignoring the very real issue of insolvency and global destabilization. The corrupt politicians put us into this position and generations of American's voted for it. Theres only 1 President ever who is trying to dig us out of this mess with all the cards stacked against him, even from his own party. It would be nice to see all of the people who stole that $35T put in jail.
Look - i voted for the guy. And despite whats going on, i still wouldnt change it, but the illusion that he cares deeply about fixing the budget is baffling.
You simply cant address the budget without entitlements, period. Look at the numbers.
