Deleted thread

OK guys, I know I am going to take a lot of flack for this, as I have never deleted a thread in the year of owning this site. I hope you all know that I don't delete anything just because someone may be offended, or because I disagree with the topic, or any other reason of censure.

I have deleted the "Big Shooter" thread.

When a thread brings in other people, even if those images and people are part of the web world, I have to make the hard decision of whether or not that is something I want happening on our site.

In this case, I have made the decision that the deleted thread had involved people who have not been on this site and the implications to them, whether true or not, and could affect them and their image or businesses.

I am sure many will disagree. And for that, I am prepared to take the heat. I guess that comes with owning the forum.

Hopefully all of you know me well enough to understand that I have stuggled with this issue before making this decision.

You have to do what you have to do for the benefit of the sight, plus you have sponsorships to think about at the same time. What we do here is public access and reflects on the show, the sponsors, and hunters in gerneral. I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision, but it was one you had to make because you have alot riding on every word in these forums in one way or another.

too funny. I did get a chance to watch those sorry azzed videos posted before it was deleted. As that outfitter you think he would have offered up some shooting sticks after all those off hand misses.
But Fin, you have to do what is best to keep your show rolling here. In a couple years after you are rock solid in the TV gig we will give you a hard time though Well, we will just give you a hard time anyway

Those were some friggin hilarious videos. I couldn't believe they posted those things. Sure hope they were'nt proud of there shooting skills. My 8 yr old daughter could give them lessons down at the local pizza joint on the buck hunter video game before there next hunt!
