Deer Kill Thread for total

I just thought we should find out how many we all took. This is done at another site and I liked seeing what the total was.

1- 5x5 24" Muley. Was hoping for a bigger one but had to settle on this guy after calling in sick to hunt one more day.

The rest of my party took

1- 4x7
1- 3x4
1- 5x5

Good year but no real monsters. They 4x7 was the biggest with a 29" spread.

My deer season ended last weekend. I had a good year.

1 4x5 whitetail buck, 2 does, and one huge axis buck. All in Texas.

I missed a nice huge muley in New Mexico, so I can work on that for next year.
I got a plaque for it with a gold medal from registering it in Records of Exotics. I never thought much of those plaques before, but this one is special because I hunted the deer last year, watched him on previous years, and finally got him this year and he was a good one, although he was not the original axis buck I was after.

Season ends Jan 31 and I have unlimited Doe tags!
