So, my two takeaways.

Trump just admitted to not knowing what he’s signing. And why does he need to sign an order that was already signed by H.W. Bush? that order was to be completed during trumps last term and he never completed it.

I will just say it involves a Michigan hunter, a 360 class general season bull and the first only and last elk ever seen by said hunter on public land to this point in his hunting career.

So, my two takeaways.

It's because he:

1. Wants the credit for it
2. Plans to actually do it (probably)
3. Wants the distraction it's going to cause

The media cycle wants to get as many viewers as possible. Therefore, they run the most sensational stories they can find. People can only look at so many news stories in a day, starting with the most sensational. So little stories that might ACTUALLY matter? They get left out, missed, etc. Not sure what, but it's going to be something.
