Well, singing around the campfire just took on a whole new meaning for a Colorado hunt, now that marijuana stores are open for business. Might have to pack lots of snacks!:D

Incredible! Nebraska drug arrests have sky rocketed since Colorado took the legalization route.

The real estate sales are increasing in Colorado due too the new laws. Which means Christians like me leaving and greenies moving in.

So, can a a NR just walk in to a place and buy a quarter oz? Will it be 10X the Resident price?:D

Did somebody say Cheetos. There a six grow houses down the block from the machine shop that I work in. Business is booming for them and the rent they are willing to pay is ridiculous. How long were the lines at Taco Bell after midnight?

If I Purchase through a landowner,do I keep my points?

Are there OTC zones?

Is there a point system and if so when can I buy points?

It might be time for me to break down and subscribe to ''High Times'' and let them walk me through the process. Anyone know if they have consultants that I can talk to for recommendations?;)

So can they grow their own or do they have to buy it from a certified store. How does something like this happen? Judge ruling or voted on by the people?

Assuming both are legal, I don't understand how smoking weed is any different than drinking alcohol?

Both are gateway drugs, both are dangerous when abused, both impair judgement.

Any chance the tree huggers will become less motivated? Or will the increased numbers in Co offset the lack of ambition for a net gain in tree hugging?

Funny stuff!

Looks like NR will be limited to a lesser amount @ 1/8oz at time of purchase. The possession/purchase limit is 1oz for everyone, you can grow your own with up to 6 plants, and 12 per house. Open "container" rules similar to alcohol are enforced, as are all similar rules for possession by minors, sales, driving, etc. Can't be used on public land.

Alaska will be voting on legalization this coming fall. Be interesting to see how this goes down in CO. The group that pushed for the initiative here gained about 2x the number of signatures needed.

They way I see it, the ones that use it will continue to do so regardless of how they get it. The ones that don't, I doubt will jump on the band wagon and become full time users. The ones I worry about are the kids... then again something like 4 out of 5 have used it.

I wonder about drug use/testing for jobs.

The company I work for here sent out an email reminding everyone that we are "at will" employment, and failing a drug test for marijuana will result in termination. I can already see the lawsuits coming......

+1, completely agree.

I don't use, nor drink hardly, but I think alcohol is worse in some instances.

My shrink at the VA says I should smoke...lol But, the VA still goes by federal ruling that it's not usable. I get drug tested because I'm on narcotics for pain, so if I tested positive for pot, I would lose my pain meds and possibly my happy pills.

I'd think a lot of companies will be real nervous about litigating employee termination cases involving pot down there. I could see it now, the defense attorney's first question during the voir dire is; I see from the jury surveys that some of you smoke pot. How many of you support Colorado's pot law? Every person in the jury pool raises their hand. The company rep immediately starts to pass out and screams we want to settle on the way to the floor...

A news story ran last evening - a smoke store in Denver was investigated, and were found guilty of its employees rolling joints using saliva? Not FDA approved!
HAHAHAHAHH
Crazy.
