Colorado GMU advice

Okay guys. My buddy an I have been doing some research but we got some questoins and are hopful some of you guys can help. Any of you ever hunted GMU's 80 or 81? We're planning on archery OTC elk. Just wondering if any of you guys have any experience in either of them?

I live in the mountains of Unit 80, and do quite a bit of horseback riding and packing in both 80 & 81. As you may know, they're companion GMU units, so your tags are good to hunt in either one. You probably also know that a large tract of 81 is the fabulous South San Juan Wilderness. On the other hand, Unit 80 has fr more roads & trails. I hunt in 80 for the most part, but enjoy 81 more for backcountry camping and packing.
