COLLEGE Football Is Almost Upon Us

Rival college football talk here - Griz spanked the pussycats. 'nuff said :D

Back to the regular programming of booster / purchase - circumventing big money for players - college athletic programs.

I'd make some similar negative comments about U of M but I think I will just bite my tongue and say that all college sports are corrupt to some degree. Even the lowly D-2 school where I live is under NCAA sanctions right now. They do have a winning record against Montana State which is quite funny.

How much more famous is Jameis going to get?

Tide steamrolls another powerhouse.

Gundy's DC needs a raise.

The Baptists and Horn's D just might prolong Mack's tenure.

Jordan Lynch is a helluva football player.

...that's all I got today.

+1 on the Tide. Must be nice to have a cupcake game this late in the season to rest your players.

I'm hoping that Jamis gets suspended for the first game next year when they play OSU, that way we have a chance. Seems like the more I hear about his problems the worse they seem.

Spook, I did watch most of the Miss St Arkansas game this week. tough loss for the hogs. I do like the RB's you have.

I agree about Baylor, they could lose to UT this weekend. Their confidence looked shattered on Saturday night. They are not used to playing a real defense.

I'm still waiting for Tom to tell us how the SEC is the best. His vols just made sue they will have 4 losing seasons in a row. Florida Loses to an FCS team, and Kentucky is just terrible. Not to mention 3-4 other teams who aren't doing much these days. SEC, SEC, SEC.

Baylor and the TU play Dec 7....the Horns and Raiders play Thursday.

FSU is gonna make two lawyers and a woman who declined to press charges rich. Jameis ultimately skates but might cost him a statue.

Sumlin still goes to USC.

Was more a rib for humor then a statement of sainthood. :)

I agree on Jameis.

The aggie meltdown when Sumlin leaves will be epic. Without KK, Sumlin, and JF they will go right back to mediocrity.

Nice scheme. No wonder they lost to a lowly FCS school. Muschamp is done and I've gotta think Charlie Strong gets the job.

WYO, actually FL wasn't all that bad early....lost first game at Miami after making six turnovers, but decent.....then they beat us but left with 11 regular players on the pines injured for remainder of season.....Muschamp could be thru but I think they give him one more season...
SEC had four rookie coaches....ARK's gets an "F", Auburn's gets an "A" and UT's gets a B-minus, other is a C+.
So BIG10 fans, do the Sparties stand a chance against the Poison Nuts?
Just think, if UT figures out a way to lose to UK, Ohio St will be the only team left to never have gone thru an 8 loss season.....two losses in a row to Vandy had not happened since the mid-1920's....

The UT has an extra day to get ready for Baylor...if they can only slightly improve on the defensive and running game intensity they showed against Tech, they have a chance to give Mack a more leveraged exit strategy.

I'm pulling for Briles to bounce back and hang some numbers on TCU...he's got to be chagrined with the timing of the big contract and the OSU beatdown.

Go Auburn....

Has anybody ever heard an explanation for why the Florida players were blocking each other? I'd just like to know what they attributed it to.
