OK kids… who’s going to CO after all?

I must look younger than I think, I wasn’t carded at checkout and I slipped out the door with an elk tag, the same one I originally wanted in the primary draw.

A few weeks ago I had an empty pocket, now I have 4 tags for three species in 3 states….. Land of opportunity still!

Got an either elk to complement my deer tag for 4th season. More of an insurance policy in case one steps out.

Similar for me. I have a 1st unit bull that was a third choice draw so not my preferred hunt. New area, lots of pressure, etc. so not all that hopeful for success. Picked up a second rifle cow tag to go along with my same unit deer tag as an insurance toward filling the freezer. Saw a lot of cows in that area last year while deer hunting so pretty certain I can fill that tag if I want/need to.
