CO Mountain Lion Ballot Initiative: Continuous Updates

Sure seems like it is going to be a solid statement. 55% no seems pretty conclusive.
Do not celebrate yet. Right now there has been around 2,000,000 votes cast. In the 2020 election there was like 3,100,000 votes cast. So there is still a lot of votes to be counted and I would gues that Pitkins County will flip green, Durango will flip green. Hopefully we mandate to keep routes, Laramie, Colorado Springs, etc. looks good but still a lot of votes to go.

Well said. Jefferson and Larimer will decide the rest of this for us.

if the yes/no spreads currently in place for denver/boulder don't change much i'd say we got it. many of the large metro counties are a near tie with a couple big ones going no.

continue to proceed with cautious optimism.

Denver and Boulder. Larimer has 68% reporting and Jefferson has 78% reporting. And they are both solid no's at this point. Denver is at 47% reporting and Boulder is at 57%.

Now we know what it takes to beat this nonsense! We have to continue to educate our neighbors whom as a whole really don't necessarily care about hunting, but realize this is right that was trying to be taken away from us.

Most importantly we now know if we band together as sporstman and friends of wildlife and conservation we can win - Whether we are residents or non-residents!

Elections are decided in the suburbs…..we all knew who would carry Denver city, Boulder, and East plains/west slope. If CATS can’t win in the suburbs, they lose.

I want to thank ALL of the non-residents whom donated to any money or time to help us defeat this proposition. I assure you that I/we will help you when your state has this type of crap being proposed.
I've hunted your beautiful state twice and hope to return many more times. Know that those of us who love to come enjoy the CO landscape will never hesitate to help in whatever way we can, even if we can't help at the ballot box

I just realized how bad the name on the ballot was. "Big cat trophy hunting" why did the word trophy have to be used
