CO GMU18/181 bears?

Hey All,

Anybody with bear hunting experience in CO GMU18/181? I have hunted deer and elk there, and have seen tracks and scat.
I was wondering if anyone has ever hunted there for bears? I'm thinking of trying it this fall, and using the opportunity as a
scouting trip for elk and deer later.

Any ideas/experience?

Oh yeah, this will be my first bear hunt.

I’ll bump this old thread- I’ve never seen one in person but I hunt this area all the time (+shed season)

I've seen one in the dumpster behind the Lariat - although I was coming out of the Lariat, so don't know if my source can be trusted.
