Christensen Arms, what's the verdict?

I had to Mesa's and I've sold both. They both actually shot quite well. What bothered me was the bolt. It was super sticky on both guns - more so with certain types of ammo. I reached out to CA and they said they use a stiffer spring than other manufacturers and that it would break in over time. I put a few hundred rounds through each rifle and never noticed it softening up. On paper, they check a lot of boxes, but IME they've been disappointing in real life, especially considering I have a run of the mill Rem 700 that shoots just as well without any of the other issues.

+1 on the above, I'll never buy another one. Too many better performing guns in that price range and cheaper. Browning x-bolt absolute tack driver for way less.

Same here..i still have my ridgeline is 300win, I also have 3 senderos that shoot fantastic not including the one I had customized..the only advantage on the ridgeline is the weight..it’s super light and still not much recoil in 300win

My CA Mesa had a couple of issues at first with Nosler ammo. Got better after a couple of boxes. Switched to Weatherby Select ammo and works beautifully. 28 Nosler

Two Mesa's here. 6.5 PRC and 6.5 Creed. The PRC had to go back to the factory for a bolt replacement. They booth shoot plenty well the PRC is a bit better.

I be damned!! That’s exactly like mine..the nosler ammo (specifically the accubonds) is what mine had a problem with.. bolt wouldn’t hardly close, had to force it shut, i did fire it, it shot fine then didn’t want to open..I sent it back, since I’ve gotten it back it cycles it, the nosler is ammo is still a little more snug than any other..I haven’t shot the gun yet as I have not remounted the scope..before I sent it off the nosler ammo would have scratches on the bullet casing just above the shoulder when fed and ejected..excessively
tight fit
