Legal or not (and I suspect there was plenty human smuggling even then) the fair wage portion of your statement does not hold up. The foundation of America was built on the backs of indentures and outright slavery so it is hardly surprising that it is still socially acceptable to many people even today.

That however is the only portion of your statement I am argueing with as I am anti-illegal myself. Providing services to those here illegally is incredibly assinine.

Mohave i will not argue that there has not been illegal immigration at some form or level in america...But never has it been in the millionsand epidemic as it is today...Also poeple who came here mostly LEGAL always learned how to speak english.
