Can we talk about Caribou game bags?

I will admit that I have only ever owned one set of game bags. But this one ‘wapiti’ set of game bags has hauled out no less than 20 animals and comes back ready to roll after a simple rinse/wash. Darn good investment, bulletproof.

Love mine, just got another set in blaze orange. Easy to clean and very durable, just don't hold up too well against a determined pine marten, but that was my cow elk and my partner's game bags, so all's good
Use to use the canvas bags, still have them, but not what you want to carry for very far.

What is the alternative? The cotton condom type that roll over the quarters? If so, there is no comparison in my experience. These things aren’t magic or anything. A solid set of pillow cases may do the same thing but they don’t stretch, are easy to grab and tug around and stay where you put them.

Walmart king size cooling synthetic pillow cases. Exact same synthetic material, $9 for a two pack. They just don’t have draw strings. Tie a knot and loop some paracord around that. For that price it hurts a lot less when you inevitably rip them.

I have never used anything else hence my question. I bet I have packed out/helped on an easy hundred game animals with the cotton condoms

They are great but bulky and heavy, but still all I've used the last decade plus
