I was getting into a lot of cow elk with calves the other day in the timber, but they were getting so close so quickly that they would bust me before I could get good pictures. Here's an amusing example of my frustration.

I don't seem to be seeing as many fawns this year, but many of the does that do have them have twins.

Nice pics. I am sure it has been asked before, but, what type of camera are you using? Those are some amazingly clear pics.

Nothing fancy. It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20. I don't even think they make them any more. They have comparable models that do just as well. I think A-con and mtmiller have two of the newer models.
