Perfectly said.Would have made more sense to address processes first, then see what kind of workforce restructuring was necessary.
Politics as usual.Let's hope a return to real oversight returns.

A Key Federal Agency Has Stopped Approving New Renewables Projects
The Army Corps of Engineers, which oversees U.S. wetlands, has halted processing on 168 pending wind and solar actions, a spokesperson confirmed to Heatmap.heatmap.news
Agree. But we shouldn't confuse two different things- or make them the same, as seems to be the case with the Admin. Oil and nuclear are fulfilling two different needs - one is gasoline prices the other is electrical prices. There is no way to build new plants- nat gas or nuclear - fast enough to meet the increase in electrical demand (driven by data centers). This is why the companies are looking at nuclear for their needs and putting solar panels on every building they can. I envision a time when a large part of our electrical generation is either owned or contractually leased by these companies. When society needs that energy, those companies will leave the average American standing with their d'*k in their hand begging for more. New builds would need to be on public land to increase our claim. Catch 22.Nuclear please
