FWP reports non-native northern pike in Northwest Montana river
State wildlife officials are asking anyone who sees or catches any northern pike in the Bull River in Sanders County to contact them.

I'm a bit surprised this recently became a concern. I've fished pike and bass frequently in Bull Lake. I would have assumed, with the frequency of osprey and eagles, a few were bound to drop into the river. Never fished Bull river.
I'd imagine they have a pike dam though?
Aside from fish finding feathers, humans are the next for the retard of the Year award though the feathered friends are very frequent. I'd place my $ on them.
Is what it is though any NW fishermen of the rivers, apparently, report to the fisheries biologist in the article.
