Well these guys don't visit my Mothers place as often anymore, must be to much feed available now. They did make a quick visit just at dark and had their one carrot each before melting back into the dark again. The one with the ear tag is gonna be a big boy this year. here's a pic from their start and where their at now. Now I just have to time it where I can send my Mother to town shopping on a week-end that I'm visiting and I'll be able to give you guys an accurate measurement on the antlers.

It's been a few months since the bucks showed themselfs. Both the big boys are back but I could only get pics of the one with the ear tag. He looks in all the windows until he's noticed and the runs to the front door for his treat.

The picture history is great...

I'm waiting now for your mom to be gone so you can get a more accurate measurement of those horns... :D

Great stand position, you gonna throw some carrots down for bait? ;) :D

There is an advantage to this ladder stand, without it I would not be able to get this kind of close up on this other buck. He's the biggest on that shows up maybe 2-3 times a year. I also conducted some dental exams to insure over all health of the local herd. Kids don't try this at home I'm a totally un-trained profesional. My mother saw the tagged buck last week standing in the tree's throwing up and he wouldn't join the others for a carrot and I'm hoping he'll make it through what ever he's got, time will tell.
