Buck Down

After a brutal solo elk hunt I had a few days to chase these awesome things around. Missed a giant at 190 yds in the wind. Next day I saw this buck walk down behind a rise and out of sight. I set up for a 250 yard shot. Laid there for over an hour, wind picked up, asked myself wtf im doing attempting a further shot than the day before in the same wind. So i found a way to move into 90 yards and that was that. I had some guidance from a Big buck Guru here; Thank You!

Is it just me or is that a lot of prong!? Nice Work!

Great buck. Looks like he’ll be a shoulder mount based on the tailgate pic?

I’m not sure. Took the cape in to get tanned incase I feel like doing it later in the year. But I’ve spent a mini fortune on tags and gas this year...
