Does anyone have any literature on how a guy goes about collecting brownie points with the bride. I know I've aquired 8 or 10 points this week but some how lost 7 at once during supper last night. It would be nice to know how to build points the fastest just before a trip afield. A quick referance sheet would be handy also. Any suggestions would be helpful.

There are so many variables that it is hard to say. What works one week of the month may not work the next. In general, do helpful things around the house that you do not usually do. Help with the dishes or do the dishes yourself. Pick up after yourself if you are normally a slob.

Give her little hugs and kisses, unexpectedly, and tell her just how very glad you are that she agreed to marry you and how lucky you feel.

But do this a while in advance so it isn't too obvious when you ask for a weekend with the guys hunting....

Finally - you may still have to pay for it when you come home. :(

The only way I know how to build brownie points with the wife is to spend more time scouting.

Its tough to take, but I suffer through it...

Then, when I'm really in need of some brownie points...I have to resort to scouting these things. So demanding...I dont know why I put up with it. ;)

I've found the 1lb Hersey chocolate bars at the right time help....

They work real well upon your return when the are accompanied by roses....

If you've pissed her off, take her by the hand, gently lead her to your room (make sure you won't get interrupted), sit on the bed and say honey we are not leaving here until we have thoroughly talked this through. We wimmins love to talk things through. :D You will come off very sensitive if you are the one to take this step.

Plus the bonus is, this often wraps up with make-up sex, but don't be the one to suggest it.

Buzz, does your wife have a sister? :D
Seriously though, it's outstanding that you are able to share the outdoors together.

Buzz those are some fantastic pics and I'm sure that those times afield together were great moments as well

My Mrs. (3 kids ago) used to accompany me on a lot of my hunts and sharing them was a blast!

D.Sims...even if the lovely lady doesn't have a sister you can always hold out for hope that she might become available after Paws roadtrip ;)

Hmm, I don't think I'd plan on it. ;)

Buzz, will Pat give me lessons on speedgoat hunting? I love the looks...of that buck she got last year. ;) I think I would have put him on the wall.

Man Buzz, I thought Paws was the showoff by posting his resume, but I think you surpassed him there! ;) Great pics and congrats! Now that's a winner of a wife!
