Wow, I was reading this, what the hell are they doing? Going back to the trailhead each day, hiking circuitous routes around 13-14ers, planning 7 mile in hikes, killing goats by 10am and getting back to town that evening. These guys have to be young studs, holy crap! Awesome write-up and beautiful pictures.

I don’t know about y’all, but when I open Hunt Talk, I scan the main page to see what categories may have an interesting thread. For the record, a thread title is extremely important…you should never bury the lead!
TRB, delivered the goods in this thread, and is certainly in the running for post of the year. I believe these types of threads are what keep bringing us back. Each post had me clambering to the fine details, and the addition of images brought me to the mountain with you. I live in Mississippi, so hunting the big 3 is more of a fading dream but this post made me feel like I was on your journey. And how cool to have members of the community help you along the way. Very cool and congrats on your successful hunt.
