Brand new female hunter from Western Montana

Super excited to be a part of this lively community!

As the title says, I'm a brand new hunter looking to soak up as much knowledge as I can. I bought my first hunting rifle last week, a .270 Howa Webley & Scott Empire. Looking forward to Spring bear hunting and spending the summer scouting for places to hunt elk in the fall.

Would also like to add I was at the FWP meeting in Missoula last week and appreciated Buzz's candor!
