Bozeman: is it really that bad anymore?

Guess I should also add it’s not just my place we when get hammered I help out 4-5 of the older people in the neighborhood that can’t handle it anymore.
Thank you. My Grandmother that spent her whole life in Shelby had a rule. She wouldn't go outside after it was 10 below. Into her 90's. mtmuley

It's not a bad thing that many think that Billings is the red headed step child. We've lived in the area for over forty years.

Since we're talking moving snow, the Kubota L2502 I bought is a snow moving beast. We got several dumps of snow this past winter, and the tractor is far preferable to the snow blower that has been retired. I plowed out a few neighbors while I was at it.

My 74th birthday is staring right at me, but so far so good, knock on wood.

When I was a kid Billings hunters were the go-to scapegoat for everything that was wrong with hunting. This was according to my dad. Then one time when I was still in single digits age wise, we got stuck in a mud hole while out hunting and broke a u-joint in the old 2-wheel drive truck we had. This was first thing in the morning and after several trucks had passed us while the old man was applying baling wire and eventually getting most of the way out, a truck with 2 hunters in it felt sorry for us and towed us with a chain down out of the mountains, 25 miles home, and refused any payment for their trouble.

Billings plates and all.

My dad told that story on himself repeatedly in the years that followed, damned near forgiving Billings hunters for being the scourge of Montana. This was right around 1970, and Billings was to Montana what Bozeman is now. It is probably about time for it to cycle back around.

Yellowstone County accounts is 1.8% of Montana in terms of area, but accounts for 16% of Montana’s population.

I'm sure there's good chicken fried steaks in Billings, but there's too many people there and it takes too damn long to get out of town in most directions.

Dave’s Hot Chicken satisfies the requirements your highest priority. If you leave the noun out of the equation and focus only on the adjectives. Best chicken sandwich in MT, IMO.

"3" plates were scorned through the nineties. But I also remember Bozeman hate around then too. Knocking on doors for permission my buddy would always say he was from "Bozeman Pass", not just Bozeman. 😁
Now everyone hides behind their designer plates.

I just assume all BHA plates are actually 6 plates.

Oh hell no! I like hot food and Dave’s chicken almost ruined me last time I was there…I’m sure the Hampton still has that room under construction.
