Boston Marathon - bombs explode at finish

Oh no Paul, he needs to talk, write, or tap a ton of answers. These two are the tip of the iceberg to follow. Interrogate and amp up deterrants IMO.

He wouldn't give us anything useful IMO, now that he's lawyered up. We could however, give the poor boy an all expense paid trip to Russia for a week or two. The Russian's really like nice little Chechen boys, and I'm sure they would have all kinds of fun things for him to do. :D

I think Nappy's going down on this one........What say you Ken?

Not sure many knew this :
'The Office of Health and Human Services in Massachusetts confirmed a Boston Herald report Wednesday that Tamerlan, his wife and toddler daughter had received welfare benefits up until last year, when he became ineligible based on family income. The state also says Tamerlan and his brother received welfare benefits as children through their parents while the family lived in Russia'.

?WHAT?#

Shouldn't have cut #1 off the teat last year........made him angry.

Not sure if all of you are aware of events in London yesterday?
It would appear 2 home grown muslim terrorists drove their car into a soldier and then jumped out with knives and cleavers whilst the general public watched in horror, they stabbed and chopped up the defenceless soldier until they decapitated him.
Then dragged the body into the street and asked people to film them and their distorted reasons for carrying out this horrific attack.
They waited for the police to arrive and then ran at the police, a female police officer shot them both and they are now in hospital.
Understandably feelings are running high and there have been demonstrations and 3 attacks on mosques.
Of course if we were allowed to carry side arms this might have been stopped.
Its a dangerous world we live in.
My thoughts are with the victim and his family.

Saw that last night Richard; prayers to his family. Unfortunately your country and ours have kept the welcome mat out far too long and with much too little scrutiny, and we're now stuck with social elements which are doing their damnedest to drain us dry and kill us for our trouble. I'd support sending them all back where they came from with little more than the clothes on their backs. We don't need diversity in order to exist as a nation or a people, and the ones who think so are damned fools. There's a reason why we've lived as separate groups with borders, geography, religions and ideologies separating us for so long, and now our more "enlightened" want to turn the world into one big melting pot.

its sure a sad world we live in. The worst part is, those 2 guys are still alive and now the media will make them famous. In a situation like like. . .shoot to kill. IMO.

It is unusual that they were wounded, usually the police don't leave anything to chance and the outcome is a dead terrorist, but at least they can interrogate them now.
Arrests have already been made, it would appear that they were on the radar of MI5 but something obviously went wrong with our security service.
The soldier was 25 years old with a 2 year old child, its so sad.
