Some of us are the only "player in the field", with the addition of our four legged nose. And that field is 10,674 acres - devoid of corn and whistle-blowing guide boys. Don't know how you 12 abreasters can tolerate that method.
And I am of NoDak and SoDak farmer stock......
No 12 abreast here and I've never seen a pheasant in the wild. Mostly valley quail and chukar in some tricky landscapes where you would be foolish to hunt alone. Chukar hunting is rough country.
