I get a couple months of no birds, so get excited when I start seeing them again. Here are a few shots from the last couple weeks. Never much into snows, but since I am missing pintails, here are some snows.

Yep, Freeze Out. Awesome time of year with a great backdrop. Looks like this weekend should be good, but getting getting fired up for grouse.

Never started this early, but already seeing higher numbers on a few leks. Just sharpie pics so far.

One man's trash...

That's a great lens. I'm shooting a Sigma 150-500 OS to cover that range, which is still a nice lens.
