Binocular to tripod adopter

New used. My $ anyway...lol.
Have not taken the tripod out yet with them. No need so far. Very nice glass.
Picking up some hardware today and taking the long cut back thru Alpine to the Gila and will have the tripod today.
Will check out bino adapters while I'm in town.
New/Used, doesn't matter. All alpha glass is nice!

Spectacular is how I put it. Had nice drive thru White Mtns and just hand glassing @ stops and very happy. How do folks watch birds? I tried watching some woodpeckers but they just move out of view too quick..lol.
I can count needles on pines 200 yards away. Tomorrow woodcutting trip with tripod in Gila.

Second not wasting money on the vortex, had that on old Binos and was terrible. Upgraded to Leica and as far as I know you can’t put a stud on them so after looking at the weight/bulk of their plastic thing (and figure I gave them enough $’s) I made one out of some aluminum tube, stainless hardware, and old bike tube. Been running for a couple years and it’s stable, light, cheep and would work with most binos.

I'm looking for a good way to mount my binoculars to my tripod so I can glass with them any recommendations I'd like something I can leave attached to my binoculars and will still fit in my harness if that's possible
I would highly recommend the bog pod bono adapter. It seconds as a great shooting rest and it is quick and esy to put the binos on and off

Do you have more pics of the grommet and attachment system you used? After giving myself a headache on research I am leaning in your direction. Can even carry a spare in the pack for less then the cost of shipping on a stabilite.

i just put this together the last couple days. It is a atv fog light adapter bracket got two of them for $12 bucks and had to buy a 1/4 20 tap bit. Looks a little rudamentary but works great. Weighs in at 90g and fits inside bino harness. probably work on cleaning it up a bit didnt want to spend too much time on grinder if it wasnt going to work. IMG_1800.JPGIMG_1799.JPG

Here are a couple, just let me know if you have questions. Only tricky part is bending the tube, have to heat some but not too much.
