Gastro Gnome - Eat Better Wherever

Biggest, Smallest, or Funkiest Sheds

This is my best horn to date. Pictures dont do it justice. This is my 75lb lab sitting next to it. 57" main and lots of mass. I weighed it today and it still weighs 14.9 lbs with three points chewed or broke off. If you exstrapolate what was there I think this bull was well over 400 in his prime. The grade of this horn is poor but still makes me wonder how big he really was. For sure a seven point. You could see where the g6 was chewed off.

that is a sweet azz horn right there...............nice find. I know you have more pics than that;)

Some of these have been seen before since i haven't got to go yet this year:mad::( These are a couple of my most enjoyable days picken horns.

Here is a bull that was found dead on the ranch.

To bad it's so hard to draw a tag to hunt these elk.

Very nice critter, I knew you were a sandbagger. You guys bother with white ones? I usually hang them in trees to mark I've been there. Seeing that truck load makes me want to go on another run.

I am amazed at the sheer numbers of sheds you guys find over there.

And the main beam lengths? Sheesh, 48 inches is big here. These brush bulls are massive, but just can't get those mains growin.

My friend did just find a book bull with 48 inch main beams. Snowcatting in 12 feet of snow up high, cut tracks, followed them and found the sheds in a tree well. Said the 3rds are 24 inches long.

I actually don't pick up white ones anymore unless they are big ones. THat day i had a bunch, and my pack got so cumbersome, that I started leaving white ones and trading them out as i went:D
THat truckload was one two day weekend worth.

I see MT sissy boyz wait until it is green and shorts weather.

Me? I can't walk by a white 2 point deer antler and not pick them up.

I always seem to find good ones in sets.Takes the fun out of scrounging up a match.;)

Both these sets (right at 350") were found on one afternoon stroll....The first pic is ATL. Never found a whopper but 350 looks pretty darn good to me.

3rd pic was my 'reward' for hiking away from an ATV gridding SOB. I was so pissed as I was hiking far, far, away and then I stumbled into a nice white set. I walked right back by that turd with a BIG smile on my face.
