Just came off the mountain and we had a great trip, it dropped close to 16” of snow on us this weekend and we were still able to seal the deal on a giant billy. Some of you who followed Greenhorns goat field judging thread can now put the argument about Scarface to rest. We have a 2 hour drive home and horses to take care of so pics and the story will come tomorrow.

Congratulations! I went back and reread Greenhorn's thread. He's going to be bigger than orginally though is my prediction. I'm raising my guess to 10 1/4" length and 5 5/8 bases.

This was my dads goat tag not mine so it’s not really my story to tell. I’ll add some pictures and let them tell the story. What an awesome hunt in some great country. I’m drying gear out and trying to rest up a bit today. Couldn’t be happier to share this experience with my uncle and my dad who at 58 years old put some serious effort into getting this done. For those of you who had guessed at the summer pictures of this Billy he is 9 5/8” with 5.5” bases unofficially. The true trophy is that he was a big mature 9.5yr old goat.
