The petition currently stands at 988 signatures, only 12 shy of the 1000 they wanted to see by the 4th. Why stop at 1000? There is still plenty of time. Thanks to those who have informed themselves and signed.

Thanks for the update. It looks like those that fear the most, are willing to continue this blantent lack of transparency.

For those who haven't read the link posted by DougFir, one of the guys on MM by the username of Hawkeye is an attorney and is doing an in depth investigation on this tag deal. It turns out that he tracked down the contract for the Expo and it's not even the SFW that signed the thing with the DWR! The MDF is the sole organization legally signed up with the DWR to run the Expo and SFW is obviously partnering with them, but has nothing to do with the actual legal contract. Verrrrrrryyyy intersssssesting!!!

The 1000 signatures by the 4th was just a goal along the way. They still need signatures, the more the better. This is as grass roots as it gets, there are people standing in front of sporting goods stores, handing out information, and getting signatures. Please help spread the word, and thanks for your support.
