You didn't mention what type of sidearm you were talking about.
For all my semi autos (except for my 1911) I use Urban Carry OWB.
I have a Desantis Yaque slide holster for the 1911.
I also have a Desantis for my Taurus revolver in 38Spcl.
My Ruger Security Six I usually wear in an Uncle Mikes fabric holster. ( I have no clue what the fabric is)
I'm still searching for a holster for my Taurus Judge.
