Best card games and board games to occupy our time

Looking for favorite card and board games with family during our social distancing.

My all-time favorite card game is Sheepshead, sometimes known as Schopfskopf (German)
If you’re familiar with Eucre, it’s somewhat similar.

Our kids ( 4 of em) are all under the age of 12 so we are limited..

Euchre ( we successfully taught the 10 and 12 year old about 2 months ago thank god)

Cards Against Humanity is great with young kids. Lots of life lessons.

First thing that came to mind was Cards Against Humanity but I was afraid I would be judged

More fun with friends and some beverages though. Maybe you could Zoom it

Axis and Allies and Catan are strategy games that take quite a while to play and are fun.

Not a board or card game, but if you have dice Farkle is fun. Friend’s kids get way into it. Let them do the math to keep score and it’s even educational

We actually fired up the Wii again. really fun as a family game. We have X-Box but thats for the kids ( although I try to help kill some zombies and my 20 yr old daughter kicks my ass a t Madden NFL). I cant figure out all the damn buttons quick enough.

And up here in Central Wisconsin, it’s Sheepshead. People know Euchre, but don’t play- sheepshead is the preference handily.
